Job Summary
Dock Social is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to create engaging video content for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and client projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent editing skills, a strong sense of storytelling, and experience producing high-quality short-form and long-form videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media platforms, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, and corporate videos.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, background music, and branding elements.
- Enhance video quality through color correction, audio balancing, and visual effects.
- Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to execute creative concepts.
- Organize and manage video assets efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and social media content formats.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and platform-specific video formats.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating marketing and promotional videos.
- Knowledge of animation and motion graphics.
- Basic understanding of AI-powered editing tools is an added advantage.
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects.
