Job Summary
Coral Print Pack is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee and manage production operations in Rotogravure Printing, Flexographic Printing, and PP Woven Sack Manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, reducing wastage, optimizing machine utilization, and leading production teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities across Rotogravure, Flexo Printing, Lamination, Slitting, and Woven Sack production lines.
- Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments for smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
- Monitor machine performance, downtime, wastage, and productivity; implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Manage manpower allocation, shift planning, attendance, and workforce productivity.
- Implement and maintain SOPs, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and safety practices on the shop floor.
- Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials, inks, adhesives, films, and woven fabric to minimize production costs.
- Analyze production reports, OEE, rejection rates, and machine efficiency data to improve performance.
- Lead troubleshooting activities related to printing defects, lamination issues, machine breakdowns, and process deviations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production supervisors, operators, and shop-floor employees.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and company policies.
- Participate in audits and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Additional certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Production Management is an advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 8–15 years of experience in Flexible Packaging, Rotogravure Printing, Flexographic Printing, and PP Woven Sack Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of printing processes, lamination, slitting, bag conversion, and production planning.
- Experience in managing large production teams and multi-shift operations.
- Hands-on exposure to quality control, maintenance coordination, and process improvement initiatives.
