Role Overview
The Placement Officer will be responsible for driving placement success by developing strong corporate partnerships, expanding employer networks, and ensuring high-quality placement opportunities for students. This role involves leading placement initiatives, guiding junior placement staff, and strengthening relationships with organizations across India and the Middle East. The position requires strong networking ability, strategic thinking, and the capability to independently manage placement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong corporate relationships with employers
- Identify and onboard new companies for student placements
- Build and expand placement partnerships across India and the Middle East
- Lead employer communication and understand hiring requirements
- Design and conduct structured placement training programs
- Lead resume review and interview readiness evaluation
- Travel for corporate networking and partnership development
- Handle escalations with recruiters or placement-related issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Any Degree
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in placement coordination or career services (Mandatory)
- Proven experience in corporate networking and employer engagement
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication (Mandatory)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to guide, mentor, and support junior team members
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple placement activities independently
- Willingness to travel when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in EdTech, Training Institutes, or Placement Cells
- Exposure to recruitment coordination or employer engagement
- Existing corporate contacts or hiring network
- Experience handling placement drives or recruitment events
- Familiarity with LinkedIn sourcing and professional networking

- Number of new companies onboarded per month
- Number of placement opportunities generated
- Student placement success rate
- Employer satisfaction and repeat hiring
- Placement pipeline management efficiency
- Training effectiveness and student readiness levels
- Support and supervision effectiveness of junior staff
