EXTRUDER MACHINE OPERATOR – DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and monitor extrusion machines to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Set up machine parameters such as temperature, speed, pressure, and material feed as per production requirements.
- Load raw materials and ensure uninterrupted material supply during production.
- Conduct machine start-up, changeovers, and shutdown procedures as per standard operating procedures.
- Monitor product quality and dimensions continuously during production.
- Identify and rectify minor machine issues and report major breakdowns to the maintenance team.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain production records, machine logs, and quality inspection reports accurately.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while minimizing material wastage and downtime.
- Follow quality standards and work instructions to produce defect-free products.
- Comply with all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Inspect finished products and segregate non-conforming products as per quality procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the machine and work area.
- Assist in training new operators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of extrusion machine operation and process parameters.
- Ability to read production specifications and work instructions.
- Understanding of quality control procedures and measurement instruments.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Awareness of workplace safety and 5S practices.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
