HSE Manager
We are looking for a HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager develops, implements, and oversees workplace policies to protect employees, visitors, and the environment. They ensure regulatory compliance, conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and foster a strong safety culture through regular audits and employee training programs.
Core Responsibilities
- Compliance & Policy: Develop and enforce HSE protocols that align with local and international safety standards
- Risk Management: Identify workplace hazards, perform Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and implement preventative measures to mitigate risks.
- Incident Management: Lead root-cause investigations into accidents or near-misses, and maintain comprehensive records to report trends to senior management.
- Training & Audits: Conduct routine site inspections and safety audits, and organize safety orientations and mock drills for staff.
- Environmental Stewardship: Manage hazardous waste disposal, monitor environmental discharges, and champion corporate sustainability initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Typically 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in health and safety, often specific to the industry (e.g., construction, oil and gas, or manufacturing).
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), NEBOSH, or OSHA certification are highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong crisis management, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills are essential to engage workers and advise executives.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
