The MEP Piping Engineer is responsible for the design, drafting, coordination, and execution support of mechanical piping systems for building projects. The role involves preparing engineering drawings, performing design calculations, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.\
- Prepare MEP piping design drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Develop and review HVAC piping, plumbing, drainage, and related mechanical piping systems.
- Create and modify drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other BIM software.
- Perform basic engineering calculations for pipe sizing, pressure drop, flow requirements, and equipment connections.
- Coordinate piping layouts with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP services.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
- Identify clashes and coordinate solutions using BIM coordination tools.
- Support preparation of material take-offs (MTO), BOQ, and technical submissions.
- Assist senior engineers in project execution and site coordination.
- Attend design review meetings and incorporate engineering comments.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards, client requirements, and applicable codes.
- Maintain project documentation and revision control.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of MEP systems, piping layouts, and building services.
- Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection piping systems.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP/BIM tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of industry standards and design practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
