Job Summary:
We are seeking an 2-5 years experienced production incharge to lead and manage overall Plant operation ensuring production target, cost efficiency and timely delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Plant management, production planning, manpower handling, quality standards, and process improvement to ensure smooth and efficient production activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
Production Planning & Supervision
- Supervise daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Allocate work to technicians and production staff based on the production plan.
- Monitor production progress and minimize delays,
- Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished products.
- Ensure all products comply with company quality standards and specifications.
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions.
Team Management
- Supervise production CTL/WCTL/NCTL Operators.
- Monitor workers productivity and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
- Train new workers and helpers on production processes and quality standards.
Production Documentation
- Maintain daily production reports, quality inspection reports, rejection reports, and production records.
- Ensure accurate documentation for internal reviews.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality procedures, and workplace safety standards.
- Promote a safe and organized work environment.
- Ensure proper implementation of 5s in the Shop floor.
Skills Required:
Leadership and Team Management.
Problem-solving and decision making.
Knowledge of quality system and safety practices.
Basic Computer knowledge(Excel, ERP/MIS)
Candidates working in the Sheet/Metal industry, particularly in coil manufacturing/coil processing will be preferred.
Must have ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering(mandatory).
