About the Role
Sri Lakshmi Automobiles World is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee and improve the operations of multiple Ashok Leyland Authorized Service Centres.
The ideal candidate should have strong commercial vehicle service experience, leadership skills and the ability to manage workshop operations, teams and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall operations of multiple Ashok Leyland Authorized Service Centres
- Monitor workshop revenue, profitability and business targets
- Improve technician productivity, bay utilization and service efficiency
- Lead and guide Works Managers, Service Managers and technical teams
- Monitor service quality and ensure timely vehicle delivery
- Handle customer concerns and improve customer satisfaction
- Review daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with Ashok Leyland service processes and standards
- Coordinate with Parts, Warranty, CRM and Accounts teams
- Support business growth and process improvement across service centres
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
- 10–15 years of experience in Commercial Vehicle Service
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Works Manager in an Ashok Leyland Authorized Service Centre
- Strong workshop and team management experience
- Good knowledge of service operations, productivity and revenue management
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel between service centre locations
