Role Overview
Censeo Capital is a newly incorporated NBFC entering the digital lending space. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our credit, operations, and strategic functions of PAYDAY Loan. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in digital lending processes, credit underwriting, operational workflow setup, and hands‑on experience with BRE (Business Rule Engine) system formation.
This role combines operational leadership with credit oversight and will play a critical role in establishing our lending systems, policies, and scalable processes.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)1. Strategic Leadership & NBFC Setup
- Lead end‑to‑end operational setup of the newly incorporated NBFC in alignment with regulatory expectations.
- Assist management in formulating the company’s lending strategy, annual operational plan, and business roadmap.
- Establish SOPs, internal controls, and governance standards for all operational activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, compliance teams, and technology partners for smooth NBFC operations.
2. Credit Policy & Underwriting Management
- Develop and implement credit policies, frameworks, and risk matrices for digital lending products.
- Own and monitor the end‑to‑end underwriting process, ensuring high‑quality credit decisions.
- Analyse borrower profiles using bureau data, financials, digital footprints, bank statements, and alt‑data sources.
- Manage and optimize portfolio quality through continuous monitoring of risk indicators (DPD, bounce rate, NPA, etc.).
- Collaborate with data science and product teams to define rules for automated underwriting.
3. Business Rule Engine (BRE) System Formation
- Lead the requirements gathering, design, and development of the BRE for digital loan products.
- Translate credit policies into system‑driven rules, scorecards, and automated decision workflows.
- Ensure seamless integration of BRE with LOS, LMS, KYC, and external data APIs.
- Conduct regular testing, calibration, and refinement of the BRE to improve decision accuracy and turnaround time.
4. Digital Lending Operations
- Establish and manage end‑to‑end digital lending operations, including onboarding, KYC, disbursement, collections, and customer servicing.
- Ensure operational efficiency through automation, workflow standardization, and system optimization.
- Coordinate with FinTech partners, APIs, technology vendors, and service providers.
- Build and manage dashboards for operational performance, TAT, disbursal efficiency, and customer experience metrics.
5. Compliance, Regulatory & Audit Support
- Ensure all operational and credit processes meet RBI guidelines applicable to NBFCs.
- Maintain robust documentation, record‑keeping, and audit trails for all business activities.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Oversee KYC/AML compliance and fraud‑risk management.
6. Team Building & Leadership
- Recruit, train, and lead operations and credit teams as the business scales.
- Promote a high‑performance culture with strong accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Provide functional leadership across credit, operations, and customer support teams.
7. Vendor, Partner & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with technology partners, lending partners, credit bureaus, and other ecosystem players.
- Negotiate SLAs, review performance metrics, and monitor service standards.
- Coordinate with senior management and investors on business updates and portfolio performance.
8. Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare MIS reports for Board, Management, and regulatory bodies.
- Track and monitor KPIs: disbursements, unit economics, portfolio performance, collections, TAT, operational efficiency, etc.
- Use data to drive decision-making and strategic improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Have Experience in Payday Loan
- 3–5 years of experience in digital lending, preferably in FinTech or NBFC.
- Deep knowledge of credit underwriting, loan lifecycle, and digital lending systems.
- Strong understanding of BRE design and implementation.
- Hands‑on experience with LOS, LMS, KYC systems, API‑based digital workflows.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a startup environment with ownership and agility.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
