Key Responsibilities
- Cover local, regional, and national news events.
- Gather information through interviews, research, and on-ground reporting.
- Write clear, factual, and engaging news reports within deadlines.
- Verify facts and ensure the accuracy of all published content.
- Report breaking news from the field as required.
- Coordinate with editors, photographers, and videographers for complete news coverage.
- Build and maintain a network of reliable sources.
- Follow journalistic ethics, editorial guidelines, and media laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in news reporting (Freshers with strong journalism skills may also apply).
- Excellent writing, communication, and interviewing skills.
- Good understanding of current affairs and news reporting principles.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel for field assignments.
- Basic knowledge of digital journalism, photography, or mobile reporting is preferred.
