Role Description The Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The Manager will oversee daily operations, including planning event setups, coordinating tent and lighting arrangements, and supervising on-ground teams during installation and dismantling. This role involves managing schedules, allocating staff and materials, and ensuring that events are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with client requirements. The Manager will communicate with clients and vendors, handle basic budgeting and cost control for events, and address any issues that arise before or during events. The position also includes maintaining inventory of equipment, monitoring quality standards, and supporting the development of service improvements.
Qualifications
- Operational management skills, including planning, organizing, and supervising on-site teams for events.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and staff in a clear and professional manner.
- Basic budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation skills for managing multiple events and priorities.
- Ability to handle on-site problem-solving, including dealing with unexpected changes, safety concerns, and time-sensitive decisions.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality standards in tent setup, lighting arrangements, and overall event presentation.
- Comfort working in outdoor and variable conditions, with a hands-on approach to supervising physical setup and dismantling work.
- Prior experience in event management, hospitality, or related fields is beneficial.
- Minimum educational qualification at the high school or diploma level; additional training in management or events is an advantage.
