We are looking for skilled, hands-on Electrical & Electronics Technicians to join our operations and Material Recovery Facility (MRF).
Job Summary
The Electrical & Electronics Technician will be responsible for inspecting, testing, diagnosing, dismantling, and sorting various household and commercial electronic appliances. This role requires technical expertise to safely handle diverse electronic items, identify functional parts, and ensure that dismantling processes align with waste management and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing & Diagnostics: Safely test and diagnose incoming electronic waste (including home appliances, commercial coolers, IT equipment, and consumer electronics) to identify salvageable or reusable components.
- Safe Dismantling: Disassemble complex electronic products, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and electrical machinery using hand and power tools without damaging recyclable elements.
- Component Segregation: Systematically sort recovered components (e.g., capacitors, copper wiring, motors, compressors, and plastics) based on material types and hazardous classifications.
- Technical Assistance: Assist in handling commercial cooling systems (like visi-coolers), identifying refrigeration or electrical system defaults.
- EHS Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace. Strictly adhere to Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines, pollution control board norms, and consistently use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Inventory Logging: Report daily dismantling and testing outcomes to the Warehouse/Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical trade.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in repairing, dismantling, or testing consumer electronics, home appliances, or electrical assemblies (Freshers with strong practical ITI training are also welcome to apply).
- Technical Skills:
- Sound knowledge of electrical circuitry, wiring, and electronic components.
- Proficiency in using testing instruments (multimeters, soldering irons, testers) and hand/power tools.
- Ability to safely handle hazardous elements like batteries or electrical capacitors.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, disciplined, and a strong team player with a commitment to environmental safety.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
