Project Engineer (Civil) – Tower In-Charge (Mivan Experience) Job Summary
Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer (Civil) to lead the execution of residential high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mivan aluminum formwork construction, site execution, quality control, planning, and team coordination. The role requires overseeing all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of residential high-rise tower construction.
- Supervise Mivan formwork, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, and finishing works.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, architects, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor daily site progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Plan manpower, materials, and equipment requirements for uninterrupted project execution.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate consultant and client approvals.
- Monitor project timelines and support timely project completion within budget.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in residential high-rise construction.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with the Mivan formwork system.
- Strong knowledge of RCC construction, structural drawings, and site execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and MS Project or Primavera is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Tower In-Charge on residential apartment projects.
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, project planning, billing coordination, and material management.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and meet project deadlines.
