Enabling Leadership is a non-profit organization working to build leadership skills in children from underserved communities through innovative programs:
- EL Create – Music-based learning
- EL Play – Football-based learning
- EL Build – Lego-based learning
Our programs use experiential learning to develop problem-solving, teamwork, confidence, and leadership in children studying in government and low-income schools.
Role Overview
The Program Apprentice will support the delivery of EL sessions in schools and communities under any of the three programs – Build, Play, or Create. Apprentices will be trained and deployed based on program requirements and individual strengths.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education, children, and experiential learning.
Apprentice Responsibilities
- Attends all training and development sessions, whether in-person or online.
- Completes all self-learning modules, as required
- Prepared for all training sessions with pre-work etc.
- Attending all the Apprentice assessments conducted in the academic year.
- Attends all 1-1 mentoring sessions
- Coordinates with the assigned Program Associate to plan for sessions in advance
- Attends and assists the assigned teacher in 20-25 sessions for the assigned batches so that each session achieves well-defined goals and objectives.
- Maintains cordial relationship with students, school staff & parents
- Joins the assigned teacher or other city staff during meetings with the school principal/teacher
- Provides student stories and session updates upon request
- Supports operational activities like updating student list, attendance, distribution of program materials, etc.
- Attends the parent orientation sessions at the school. Splits the workload of 1-1 interaction with parents.
- Supports the Operations Manager during events and Leagues, as required

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age 21 years and above
- Class 12 pass (10+2)
- From the local community in Bengaluru or Dharwad
- Willing to commit full-time (8 hours/day) for 10 months
- Interest in football / music / Lego / working with children
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
