About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investor Relations & Fundraising Specialist to support investor communications, fundraising initiatives, and strategic financial activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, valuation, M&A, or related fields and possess strong analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage communication and relationships with existing and prospective investors.
- Support fundraising initiatives, including investor outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline management.
- Prepare investor presentations, pitch decks, fundraising materials, and periodic investor reports.
- Coordinate investor meetings, due diligence requests, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain and update investor databases, CRM systems, and fundraising trackers.
- Assist in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment research.
- Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to gather financial, operational, and strategic information.
- Monitor fundraising progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Support transaction execution activities, including due diligence and data room management when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Fundraising, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, M&A, Valuation, Venture Capital, or related areas.
- Strong understanding of fundraising processes, capital raising, and financial concepts.
- Experience in financial modeling, business valuation, due diligence, and transaction support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with startups, venture capital firms, private equity firms, or investment organizations.
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies, investor engagement, and capital markets.
- Familiarity with CRM and investor management platforms.
- CFA, CA, MBA (Finance), or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
