Job Title: Executive Assistant to Movie Director
Location: Khar West or On-Set (as required)
Reports To: Movie Director
Working Hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Compensation: 55,000 – 60,000 (depending on the candidate)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and media-literate Executive Assistant to support a high-profile Movie Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media production, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a high level of tech proficiency across digital tools and platforms. This role requires discretion, creativity, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support:
Manage the Director’s calendar, schedule meetings, appointments, and on-set obligations
Coordinate domestic and international travel, accommodation, and detailed itineraries
Handle confidential documents, communications, and project materials with discretion
Serve as a liaison between the Director and producers, studios, talent agents, and crew
Production & Media Coordination:
Assist in pre-production, production, and post-production coordination tasks
Maintain and organize production documents, scripts, shot lists, and call sheets
Track deadlines, deliverables, and project milestones
Attend meetings and take clear, actionable notes or minutes when required
Technical & Digital Tasks:
Create and manage digital filing systems for assets, footage, and documents
Support with basic-level editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
Manage cloud-based platforms such as Google Workspace, Dropbox, and Frame.io
Assist with social media management, press kits, digital releases, or content drops
Communication & Representation:
Draft and edit professional emails, memos, and proposals
Represent the Director with a high level of professionalism in all communications
Coordinate with PR and marketing teams during film launches or press events
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in film, TV, or media
Deep understanding of the film production lifecycle and industry terminology
Strong technical skills: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Notion, Trello, Zoom
Familiarity with basic video and graphic editing tools is a strong advantage
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
