Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Business Systems & AI Automation Manager who can lead the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HEC's internal technology ecosystem.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with business process understanding and embraces AI as a force multiplier. Rather than simply writing code, you will own the architecture of our business systems and leverage AI to accelerate development, automation, and decision-making.
You will work directly with senior management to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Business System Development
- Design and develop scalable internal web applications.
- Build modular business systems that can grow with the organization.
- Create reusable components and standardized workflows.
- Design efficient relational database structures.
AI-Driven Development
- Utilize modern AI tools to accelerate software development.
- Build AI-assisted workflows for operations and decision-making.
- Integrate LLMs and AI APIs where appropriate.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate repetitive business processes.
System Architecture
- Design application architecture from the ground up.
- Define master data structures.
- Establish coding standards and development best practices.
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and security.
Integration
Build and maintain integrations with:
- Zoho Books
- Zoho Workplace
- Zoho Creator
- Email systems
- WhatsApp APIs
- Payment gateways
- Future third-party applications
Database Management
- Design optimized SQL databases.
- Create efficient queries and stored procedures where required.
- Ensure data integrity and normalization.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Business Process Automation
Digitize and automate workflows across departments including:
- Sales
- Operations
- Accounts
- Procurement
- HR
- Administration
Reporting & Analytics
Develop dashboards for:
- Sales Performance
- Revenue
- Payment Recovery
- Hotel Inventory
- Reservation Status
- Management KPIs
- Employee Performance
Security & Governance
- Implement role-based access control.
- Maintain audit trails.
- Ensure secure authentication and authorization.
- Protect business-critical data.
Technology Leadership
- Recommend emerging technologies.
- Evaluate AI tools.
- Manage external vendors when required.
