Laser Machine Supervisor
Production – Laser
Reporting To
Production Manager / Factory Manager
Job Purpose
To supervise all laser machine operations, ensure smooth production, maintain quality standards, manage manpower efficiently, and support artwork preparation using CorelDRAW while achieving daily production targets.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Graduation (Any Stream) – Mandatory
- Technical diploma/certificate in CAD, CorelDRAW, or Laser Machine Operation will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Laser Machine Operations.
- Experience in a trophy, acrylic, MDF, metal, signage, or fabrication industry preferred.
Mandatory Skills
- Excellent knowledge of CorelDRAW (Mandatory).
- Ability to create, edit, and modify production files.
- Good knowledge of Laser Machine Operation.
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email).
- Ability to understand production drawings and customer artwork.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesLaser Machine Operations
- Operate laser cutting and laser engraving machines.
- Set machine parameters according to production requirements.
- Ensure proper machine maintenance and daily cleaning.
- Minimize machine downtime and material wastage.
CorelDRAW Work
- Prepare artwork for laser cutting and engraving.
- Edit customer designs as per production requirements.
- Convert files into machine-ready formats.
- Ensure accuracy before production starts.
Production Planning
- Allocate daily work according to production priorities.
- Achieve daily production targets.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Sales, and Dispatch teams.
Worker Management
- Supervise and guide laser machine operators and helpers.
- Allocate duties among workers.
- Maintain discipline and productivity on the shop floor.
- Train new workers on machine operation and safety procedures.
- Monitor attendance and performance of team members.
Quality Control
- Check dimensions, engraving quality, and finishing before dispatch.
- Ensure zero defects and minimum rejection.
- Maintain production quality standards.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness around laser machines.
- Report any machine breakdown immediately.
Reporting
- Submit daily production reports.
- Maintain machine utilisation records.
- Report pending orders and production status to management.

Salary
15000 to 18000 per month

- Minimum Graduate.

- Hands-on experience in operating laser machines.
- Proven experience in handling workers and meeting production targets.
- Ability to work under pressure and complete urgent jobs on time.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
