Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing financial records, assisting with accounting operations, and supporting business decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes
- Help prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
- Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities
- Conduct research and compile data for audits and compliance purposes
- Organize and maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with the team on ad-hoc accounting and finance projects
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
- Effective communication skills and willingness to learn
