Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Four Wheeler Service Technician with strong hands-on knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. The candidate should be capable of handling practical service activities and supporting technical training or demonstrations for learners/trainees.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform periodic maintenance, servicing, inspection, and repair of four-wheelers.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic electronic vehicle issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
· Inspect engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other major components.
· Identify faults accurately and recommend suitable repair or replacement actions.
· Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure vehicles are maintained according to service standards.
· Use workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, service manuals, and safety equipment correctly.
· Maintain service records, inspection reports, job cards, and repair documentation.
· Follow workshop safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and quality requirements.
· Demonstrate practical vehicle maintenance and repair procedures to trainees/students.
· Prepare or support practical training sessions, demonstrations, and assessments related to automobile servicing.
· Guide trainees in safe tool usage, fault diagnosis, servicing procedures, and workshop practices.
· Coordinate with supervisors/instructors and provide feedback on trainee performance where required.
Required Skills
· Strong hands-on knowledge of four-wheeler service and maintenance.
· Good understanding of automobile mechanical systems and basic electrical systems.
· Vehicle fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
· Good communication and practical demonstration skills.
· Ability to train and guide students/trainees in workshop activities.
· Strong focus on safety, quality, discipline, and documentation.
Experience Requirement
Minimum 4 years of total relevant experience, including at least 3 years of sector-specific experience in automobile/four-wheeler servicing and maintenance, along with 1 year of teaching, training, or practical instruction experience.
