Job Summary
A Camp Organiser is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of a camp program. They ensure activities run smoothly, participants are safe and engaged, and camp objectives are achieved. The role involves logistics management, staff coordination, budgeting, and communication with participants, parents, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and organize camp schedules, activities, and events.
- Coordinate transportation, accommodation, meals, and other logistics.
- Recruit, train, and supervise camp counselors and support staff.
- Ensure participant safety and compliance with camp policies and regulations.
- Manage camp registrations and maintain participant records.
- Prepare and monitor camp budgets and expenses.
- Communicate with parents, participants, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Arrange equipment, supplies, and facilities required for camp activities.
- Handle emergencies and resolve participant concerns promptly.
- Evaluate camp programs and recommend improvements for future camps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation, Event Management, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in camp management, event coordination, youth programs, or similar roles.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight stays if required.
