The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily garment production activities, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards, efficiency, safety, and discipline on the production floor. The role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities Production Management
- Supervise and monitor daily production activities on the sewing floor.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Allocate work among operators and line staff based on production requirements.
- Monitor production efficiency and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure smooth workflow and minimize production delays.
Quality Control
- Ensure garments are produced according to approved quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department to address quality issues.
- Monitor defects and take preventive measures to reduce rework and rejection.
Workforce Supervision
- Manage and supervise tailors, operators, helpers, and line leaders.
- Maintain discipline and attendance on the production floor.
- Train and guide employees on production processes and best practices.
- Conduct performance monitoring and provide feedback to team members.
Production Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Cutting, Quality, and Store departments.
- Ensure availability of materials, trims, and accessories before production starts.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Report any accidents, machine breakdowns, or operational issues immediately.
Reporting
- Prepare daily production reports and efficiency reports.
- Maintain records related to production output, manpower, and quality performance.
- Report production status and issues to management regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Textile, Garment Technology, Production Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in garment manufacturing or apparel production supervision.
- Knowledge of garment construction, sewing operations, and production processes.

Pay: ₹16,500.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
