Job Summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and improving operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills within a garment manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage the production schedule to meet business targets and deadlines
- Oversee daily operations of the production unit, ensuring smooth workflow
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to optimize efficiency
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement quality control measures
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and logistics teams for seamless operations
- Manage production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
- Identify process improvements and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
- Prepare production reports and present performance metrics to management
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in garment manufacturing or apparel production
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and supply chain processes
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in production management software and MS Office tools
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with fashion or clothing brands
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques
- Knowledge of compliance standards in the apparel industry

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
