Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing long-form podcast videos and creating high-quality short-form content for YouTube and Instagram. This role requires someone with a strong eye for detail, creativity, and storytelling who can transform raw footage into engaging content that connects with the audience.
What You'll Do
- Edit long-form podcast videos for YouTube with a professional and engaging flow.
- Create YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form videos from podcast content.
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, music, sound effects, and visual enhancements to improve video quality.
- Enhance video and audio for a polished final output.
- Create engaging intros, outros, and other visual elements when required.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different social media platforms.
- Organize and manage video files and project assets efficiently.
- Collaborate with the content team to understand project requirements and deliver creative results.
- Complete editing projects within deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing and social media content trends.
What We're Looking For
- Experience editing videos for YouTube, Instagram, or other social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to edit both long-form and short-form content effectively.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple editing projects and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio or sample of previous editing work is preferred.
