Job Title: Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Recording: Maintain accurate financial records by keeping track of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare budgets, conduct financial forecasts, and offer financial advice to ensure the organization meets its financial goals.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, while also strategizing for tax minimization.
- Auditing: Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Reporting: Generate financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoices, payments, and collections efficiently.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with financial regulations and ensure the company adheres to all necessary laws and guidelines.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for cost reduction.
- Advisory: Provide advice on financial matters to executives and business stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in accounting or finance roles. Experience in specific industries may be beneficial.
- Professional Development: Continuous learning and staying updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
