Production Planning and Execution
- Capacity and Scheduling: Balancing machine availability, workforce shifts, and raw material inputs to meet tight automotive assembly line deadlines.
- Asset Utilization: Maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reducing cycle times across heavy machinery, including CNC, VMC, HMC, and turning centers.
- Bottleneck Mitigation: Re-routing production lines or adjusting machine setup configurations dynamically when a critical machine faces downtime.
2. Process Engineering and Technical Supervision
- Process Documentation: Overseeing the creation and implementation of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), control plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
- New Product Introduction (NPI): Partnering with R&D and engineering teams to introduce new auto components, validate cutting tools, and program CNC configurations.
- Tooling Optimization: Managing the selection and application of high-speed cutting tools, custom fixtures, and gauges to control wear and reduce scrap
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Establishing strict schedules for total productive maintenance to protect multimillion-dollar machinery and minimize unexpected breakdowns.
- Standard Enforcement: Ensuring operations tightly adhere to strict automotive standards such as IATF 16949 or ISO 9001, as well as specific Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Leading investigation teams when component rejections or dimensional non-conformances (NCs) occur, ensuring quick resolution and error-proofing (Poka-Yoke).
