Job Overview:
Kaftanize is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial data entry and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally Prime and basic Microsoft Excel, with a keen interest or experience in the fashion/retail sector.
You will be responsible for keeping our financial records precise, up-to-date, and smoothly aligned with our daily retail sales and vendor transactions.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
* Daily Data Entry: Input daily retail store sales, invoices, receipts, and payments accurately into Tally Prime.
* Expense Tracking: Record daily operational expenses, vendor bills, and utility payments.
* Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliation and verify daily cash/UPI/card settlements from the retail counter.
* Inventory Documentation: Work closely with the store team to record stock inward/outward data and maintain inventory records.
* Excel Reporting: Maintain basic spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel for sales tracking, petty cash management, and monthly summaries.
* Documentation & Filing: Organize and maintain physical and digital copies of financial documents, vouchers, and bills for audit readiness.

Requirements & Qualifications:
* Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (experience with a retail or fashion brand is a major plus).
* Software Skills: Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime and basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, formatting).
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with retail operations, cash flows, and general understanding of GST/tax invoicing in fashion retail.
* Attributes: High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and good organizational skills.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
