Structural Steel experience is must
a. Qualification: B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
b. Years of Experience: BE with 8-10 Years & Diploma with 10-12 yrs (with at least 5 yrs in Structural Steel experience)
c. NDT Level II in UT, RT, MT, PT
d. Knowledge of AWS D1.1 / IS Code
Following activities to be carried out:
i. QCP preparation (if required)
ii. Carry out inspections as per approved QCP.
iii. Review existing WPS / PQR, if required witness qualification/establishment of new WPS
iv. Witness welder qualification
v. Ensure qualified welder record
vi. Fit-up check, weld visual, dimensional, witness/review report of NDT (as per approved QCP)
vii. Painting inspection, marking/tagging check
viii. Ensuring updation of structural fabrication records, reports
ix. Ensuring use of calibrated instruments, maintaining records of the same
x. Ensuring all reports are electronically/physically (as the requirement will at the time of execution) dispatched to site along with each lot for
facilitating clearance of the dispatched items
xi. Any other activity as per QCP
