Krome Ceramics is a design-forward firm where precision meets imagination. We are seeking a highly skilled Print Designer who is a power-user of CorelDRAW and Photoshop. This isn't just about making things look good; it’s about technical mastery, file accuracy, and understanding the soul of print production.
Technical Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
We are looking for a specialist who is thorough with the following tools:
- CorelDRAW: Expertise in vector creation, complex node editing, and layout design.
- Advanced knowledge of master layers, object styles, and print-merge workflows.
- Ability to handle large-scale vector files (signage/branding) with efficiency.
- Adobe Photoshop:
- High-end photo manipulation, color correction, and image compositing.
- Deep understanding of non-destructive editing (masks, smart objects, adjustment layers).
- Expertise in preparing high-resolution raster files for large-format and fine-art printing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualization: Develop unique visual identities, marketing collateral, and packaging designs from scratch.
- Pre-Press & Production: Manage the "final inch" of design—setting up bleeds, crop marks, die-lines, and overprint settings.
- Color Management: Ensure consistency across digital proofs and physical outputs using CMYK and Pantone matching.
- File Optimization: Organize complex project files to ensure they are easily editable and vendor-ready.
- Quality Control: Review digital and physical proofs for errors in typography, alignment, and color before mass production.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience specifically in a print-focused environment (Agency or Print House).
- Detail-Oriented: You spot a 1px misalignment or a generic CMYK black from a mile away.
- Material Knowledge: Familiarity with various substrates, paper GSM, finishes (UV, Foil, Matte/Gloss), and how they react to ink.
- Portfolio: Must showcase a strong range of actual printed work (Brochures, Branding, Packaging, or Large Format).
Why Join Krome Ceramics?
At Krome Ceramics, we value the craft of design as much as the final product. You’ll work in an environment that respects technical expertise and encourages creative experimentation.
