Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Recovery Officer to manage debt recovery activities from both banking institutions and clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in collections and recovery. The role requires regular travel to meet customers, banks, and other stakeholders to ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Recover outstanding dues from banks and clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow up with customers through phone calls, emails, and direct visits.
- Coordinate with banks regarding loan-related documentation, settlements, and payment follow-ups.
- Negotiate repayment plans while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Maintain accurate recovery records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal guidelines during recovery activities.
- Coordinate with the Accounts, Finance, and Management teams regarding pending collections.
- Visit client locations whenever required to facilitate payment collection.
- Escalate critical recovery cases to the management with appropriate recommendations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in debt collection, recovery, banking collections, or credit recovery.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of banking and collection procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Willingness to travel extensively for collection activities.
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle will be an added advantage.
