Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Site Engineer – Mechanical to oversee and execute mechanical installation, erection, commissioning, and maintenance activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring project execution as per specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical erection, installation, testing, and commissioning activities at site.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents before execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is executed according to approved plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permit requirements, and company HSE policies.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment at site.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Verify measurements, quantities, and contractor bills.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates.
- Support procurement and material planning activities as required.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within project schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in mechanical site execution, installation, erection, or commissioning projects.
- Experience in industrial plants, water treatment plants, piping systems, HVAC, utility systems, or EPC projects is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of project execution methodologies and site management practices.
- Familiarity with quality standards and safety procedures.
