Core Responsibilities
- Shift Performance & Output: Oversee daily operations to ensure production schedules, quotas, and quality standards are met.
- Workflow Optimization: Allocate resources, assign tasks to line workers, and manage labor hours to minimize downtime.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, ensure team members wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment), and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor production lines for defects, handle material discrepancies, and implement corrective actions when quality dips.
- Team Leadership: Train, coach, and evaluate production staff. They handle conflict resolution and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Troubleshooting: Address equipment malfunctions or supply shortages quickly, coordinating with maintenance and supply chain teams.
