About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Travel Agent / Travel Business Development Executive to manage in-house travel bookings, establish strategic partnerships, and expand our travel business for the Hotel Moksha (Rishikesh). The ideal candidate should have strong industry connections, hands-on experience with travel booking platforms such as TBO, and the ability to build relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all in-house travel booking operations efficiently.
- Handle hotel-holiday package.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with travel companies, tour operators, corporate clients, and DMCs.
- Coordinate and complete onboarding and integration with travel platforms such as TBO Tech and other leading B2B travel portals.
- Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with hotels, transport providers, and travel partners.
- Design and promote attractive travel packages for leisure, corporate, group, and pilgrimage travel.
- Generate new business opportunities through travel agents, corporate tie-ups, and referral networks.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations, itineraries, invoices, and travel documentation.
- Monitor booking performance, revenue, and profitability while achieving monthly sales targets.
- Stay updated on travel industry trends, airline policies, visa regulations, and market opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.
- Hands-on experience with TBO Tech and other B2B travel portals such as MakeMyTrip B2B, TravClan, or similar platforms.
- Strong network with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate travel partners, and hospitality vendors.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Good knowledge of domestic and international travel operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/software used for travel bookings.
- Ability to work independently and achieve business development targets.
Preferred Candidate
- Willing to work in Delhi and Rishikesh ( both sites)
- Existing network of travel companies and corporate clients.
- Experience in business development and travel sales.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, exhibitions, and business development activities.
