The Payroll Executive / Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for a large employee base, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of payroll operations, labour laws, PF/ESIC, and compliance requirements, along with advanced Excel skills and the ability to work on payroll software or ERP systems. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, open to learning, capable of handling vendor payroll, and able to support team coordination and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end monthly payroll for Large level of employees with accuracy and within timelines.
- Manage payroll for on-roll and vendor/deployment manpower.
- Handle PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, and other statutory compliances, including registrations, challans, and returns.
- Ensure compliance with Labour Laws, Factory Act, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable statutory regulations.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, statutory reports, and MIS using Advanced Excel.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, reimbursements, and salary inputs before payroll processing.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, vendors, and statutory authorities for payroll-related activities.
- Monitor changes in labour laws and statutory compliances and update management on any amendments.
- Lead and guide the payroll team, monitor daily activities, and ensure timely completion of payroll tasks.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, payroll policies, and audit requirements.
- Learn and adapt to new payroll software/ERP systems as implemented by the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in processing payroll for Large level of employees.
- Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, Payroll Compliance, Labour Laws, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, SUMIFS, Data Validation, etc.).
- Experience working with Payroll Software, or ERP systems.
- Excellent observation and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication, email drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle teams, prioritize work, and meet strict payroll deadlines.
- Open to learning new payroll technologies and process improvements.
- Self-disciplined and committed to following company SOPs and compliance standards.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
