About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for final-year students or recent graduates who are passionate about social media, content creation, and digital marketing. You will assist in planning, creating, publishing, and managing engaging content across multiple social media platforms while learning industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and publish informational and engaging content across social media platforms.
- Schedule and manage posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
- Assist in creating social media calendars and content plans.
- Record and coordinate office activities, events, employee engagement initiatives, and behind-the-scenes content for social media.
- Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to develop creative posts, reels, and stories.
- Monitor social media trends and suggest fresh content ideas.
- Track post-performance and prepare basic performance reports.
Requirements
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and content strategies.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Canva and basic video editing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in digital marketing.
