Job Title: Kitchen Helper
Location: Zestano Café, Chavakkad, Thrissur, Kerala
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Based on experience)
About Us
Zestano Café is a growing café dedicated to serving quality food and beverages with excellent customer service. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen team in maintaining smooth daily operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation.
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
- Prepare ingredients and supplies before service (mise en place).
- Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and cooking tools.
- Keep the kitchen, storage areas, and workstations clean and organized.
- Receive, unpack, and properly store food deliveries.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation and assist with inventory.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Refill ingredients and kitchen supplies during service.
- Help with packing takeaway and delivery orders when required.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are followed.
- Support the kitchen team with any additional tasks assigned by the Head Chef or Manager.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or hotel experience is an advantage but not required.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Honest, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours
- 10-hour shift
- Evening shift (approximately 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM)
