Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Technician – Engineering to ensure the smooth functioning of cinema operations by attending to and resolving technical, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance issues at the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspection and maintenance of building and mechanical systems.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance, including replacement of bulbs, sockets and minor repairs.
- Assist with maintenance and repair of HVAC, ventilation and refrigeration systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot plumbing and other utility systems.
- Inspect fire and alarm systems and coordinate repairs whenever required.
- Carry out general repair work such as fixing locks, windows, fixtures and fittings.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Assist in housekeeping of engineering areas and ensure proper upkeep of equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors/agencies whenever required.
- Follow all safety, health and engineering standards at the cinema.
- Perform painting, carpentry, pest-control support and other maintenance activities as assigned.
- Ensure timely reporting and closure of technical complaints.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: 10th / 12th with ITI or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering trade.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in cinema, mall, hotel, retail, commercial building or facility maintenance will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, responsible and willing to work in rotational shifts.
