Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development / Sales Executive responsible for generating new business opportunities, acquiring clients, and securing projects in digital marketing and IT services. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, sales expertise, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through:
- Cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach
- Freelance platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, etc.)
- Networking events and referrals
- Research potential clients and industries to target high-value prospects
2. Client Acquisition
- Pitch digital marketing and IT service offerings to prospective clients
- Understand client requirements and propose customized solutions
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Convert leads into paying clients and close deals effectively
3. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and track progress using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with market demand
4. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Act as the main point of contact for client communication
- Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
5. Market Research & Analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing and IT services
- Analyze competitor offerings and pricing strategies
- Provide feedback to management on market demands and client needs
6. Proposal & Documentation
- Prepare detailed project proposals, contracts, and agreements
- Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to define project scope
- Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of deals
Key RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field
Experience
- 1–3+ years of experience in business development or sales
- Experience in digital marketing or IT services sales is highly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to close sales and meet targets
- Knowledge of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, social media, etc.)
- Understanding of IT services (web/app development, software solutions)
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented
