Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts & Finance Executive with 3 years of relevant experience and an ICWA/CMA background to support the organization's financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, and assisting in financial planning and analysis.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
- Maintain books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Record and verify journal entries, receipts, payments, and general ledger transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Monitor customer receivables and coordinate collections.
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts periodically.
Budgeting & Costing
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor departmental budgets and expenditure.
- Support product costing, project costing, and job costing activities.
- Analyze cost variances and recommend cost optimization measures.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and review GST returns and reconciliations.
- Assist in TDS computation, deduction, and return filing.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits.
Payroll & Employee Benefits
- Support payroll verification and accounting entries.
- Review Professional Tax, Provident Fund (PF), ESI, and Gratuity calculations.
- Assist in statutory remittances and reconciliations.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Analyze Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Support variance analysis and financial performance reviews.
- Generate periodic reports for management decision-making.
Asset Management
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
- Calculate and record monthly depreciation.
- Support asset verification and reconciliation activities.
Internal Controls & Audit
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
- Assist in internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and audit trails.
ERP & System Management
- Work with ERP systems such as Zoho Books, Zoho Finance Suite, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial data entry and reporting.
Income Tax Compliance
- Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Income Tax laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors for tax assessments, filings, and related matters.
- Maintain proper documentation for Income Tax compliance and audits.
Cash Flow Management & Analysis
- Prepare and analyze Cash Flow Statements on a periodic basis.
- Monitor cash inflows and outflows to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize cash utilization and financial planning.
- Support management with cash flow reports and liquidity analysis for decision-making.
