Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD and 3D Modeling.
Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs using FEA and CFD for design optimization and FOS (Factor of Safety).
Strong working capability with CAD and CAE simulation (Solid works, CATIA, Pro-Engineer, ANSYS etc).
Ability to deliver designs with datum structure, GD&T and accurate tolerance stack-up analysis.
Sales: Meet internal milestones tracking towards sales realization and order book targets.
Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs as necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards.
Working knowledge of a large variety of materials (aluminium, steel etc.)
Experience with design for reliability and respective durability testing requirements.
Knowledge of stress analysis, gear mechanism, torque calculations, mechanical transmission system and strength of the material.
Able to generate cost–out ideas, and value engineering proposals.
Must be capable of designing and calculating the power requirements for electric drives for BLDC/ DC/ Stepper motors.
Appreciation for Electronic packaging, Various IP (ingress Protection) standards and EMI / EMC will be an added advantage.
