Regional Finance Director
Work Dynamics
Frontline finance partner to the client and key stakeholders, driving informed business, operational, and financial decisions across a regional real estate portfolio- across multiple business lines.
Core Responsibilities
Contract & Commercial Management: Apply contract management expertise to advise on pricing and risk mitigation in partnership with account stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the JLL finance team, ensuring staff are well-trained on finance systems and capable of producing audit-ready data.
Delivery Accountability: Own delivery of the full range of financial services defined in the client contract, while ensuring efficient use of resources to support JLL's revenue and profit targets.
Forecasting, Reporting & Budgeting: Manage forecasting, reporting, analytics, and budget processes in line with contractual requirements.
Client Relationship & Decision Support: Support the client relationship by translating spend plans, client priorities, market conditions, and strategic business plans into actionable financial guidance.
Process & Controls: Develop and maintain financial/operational guidelines and manuals; ensure system controls and processes safeguard the integrity of all transactions and comply with internal control standards.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement, innovation, and fact-based decision-making to identify cost efficiencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Invoice Payments and Billing
- Develop and maintain all necessary guidelines and manuals associated with the accounts payable / receivable process
- Accountable for the timely coordination of the JLL invoice processing and monitoring the accounts receivable ensuring management of JLL cash flow.
Reporting, Forecasting and Planning
- Lead management and oversight of all reporting, forecasting and planning, analyzing operational data across the client’s property portfolio and ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided
- Guide the finance team toward completing budget, operating reviews and forecast activities in an accurate, consistent and timely fashion
- Provide monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting and variance analyses for client and corporate requirements
- Provide annual budget and quarterly forecasts for both client and corporate
Data Management, Policies, Procedures and Audit Planning
- Ensure that appropriate process and systems controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of all transactions
- Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting is audit worthy and in keeping with recognized quality management processes
People Management
- Provide effective strategic leadership and direction to account finance team by encouraging a culture of open and constructive collaboration and teamwork
- Hire, attract, and retain a team of top talent; provide coaching, mentoring and feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure all finance staff are well trained on the financial systems and are effectively able to extract data
As member of the Regional Leadership team provide clear direction and strategic financial advice to the Leadership & extended leadership team.
- Act as primary liaison with the Client’s Finance teams.
- Actively looking for innovations within your area of responsibilities to add value to the client and the JLL business
Client Relationship Management
- Proactively develop and manage client / business unit relationships ensuring that the expected services are delivered across regions consistent with the contractual scope of services and within budgets
- Working with the client and jointly manage the total cost and driving savings opportunities on the uncovered scope
- Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, functional integration, financial transparency, co-operation & performance excellence across the region.
Team Management
- Manage a team of 13 providing effective strategic leadership and coaching and mentoring the team
- Ensure the team is structured to maintain & exceed the client’s financial expectations.
- Act as manager and coach for the team ensuring high staff morale, trust, work ethics, clear goals and performance reviews.
- Develop annual objectives and succession plans for all roles in the regional finance team, Process mapping and efficiency analysis.
- Promotes a culture of teamwork and collaborates across other functional verticals within the firm in adopting/sharing of best practices
Financial Planning and Analysis (Client and Corporate JLL)
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of the team with respect to the annual budget setting and quarterly forecasting cycle
- Ensure that accurate and timely financial information is provided to all members of the management team
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Client’s accounting structure and associate systems. Translate that knowledge to ensure a smooth and consistent flow of financial data
- Develop, maintain & deliver in a timely manner, the Client’s approved financial formats across the region
- Coordinate and track the cost savings initiatives, benchmarking and implementing best practices
- Accountable for consolidating the Jones Lang LaSalle regional annual profitability plan and subsequent forecasts
- Review capital plan proposals and ensure activities are aligned to Clients’ Capex Policies
Invoice Payment & Processing
- Ensure the country teams are effectively managing: Processing and payment of all property operating expenditure invoices, in accordance with legal obligations
- Accountable for the timely coordination of the Jones Lang LaSalle invoice processing and monitoring the accounts receivable
- Working with the team / Shared Service Centre and operations team to meet client deliverables
Controls & Compliance; Policies & Procedures & Audit:
- Ensure that appropriate process and systems controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of all transactions
- Develop and maintain all relevant policies and procedures with respect to all financial & support services associated with the account. Managing teams with focus on policy and strategy implementation and control;
- Ensure data integrity of the systems across the region and audit data from time to time
- Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting is audit worthy and in keeping with recognized quality management processes
Business case modelling and solutioning
- Identify revenue opportunities by offering value-added services to client
- Perform financial evaluation and decision making for new business proposals
- Support new contact implementation, transition due diligence in validation and justification of contractual baseline obligations

Experience
- Extensive work experience in the Finance Function including prior multi-country experience
- Experience of working across a regional organisation
- In-depth understanding of regulatory/statutory requirements and governance principles/SOX
- Business partnering and commercial finance experience
Qualifications
- MBA, Masters or other Finance/Business qualification
- Accountancy Qualification
