Work Profile
Program Management
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex semiconductor programs across fabrication, assembly, testing, packaging, equipment installation, or manufacturing operations.
- Develop program roadmaps, execution strategies, project schedules, resource plans, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure successful delivery of program objectives within scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Monitor program performance through defined KPIs and provide regular executive-level reporting.
Semiconductor Domain Expertise
- Provide subject matter expertise across semiconductor manufacturing processes, fabrication (Fab), ATMP (Assembly, Testing, Marking & Packaging), cleanroom operations, process engineering, equipment installation, or facility readiness.
- Support technology transfer, production ramp-up, yield improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Advise stakeholders on semiconductor manufacturing best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, process integration, equipment, facilities, supply chain, procurement, quality, and operations teams.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders, OEMs, technology partners, contractors, and customers to ensure seamless program execution.
- Drive issue resolution and remove execution bottlenecks across multiple workstreams.
Planning & Execution
- Develop integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical paths across multiple projects.
- Manage resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and program governance.
- Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
Risk & Quality Management
- Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with semiconductor industry quality standards, EHS regulations, and customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, yield enhancement, quality, and cost optimization.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, clients, technology partners, consultants, and project teams.
- Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, and status reports.
- Facilitate governance meetings and steer program reviews.
Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, project controls, supply chain, quality, and operations.
- Mentor project managers and technical teams on program management best practices.
- Foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Key Skills
- 9-12 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with significant exposure to large-scale manufacturing, fabrication, ATMP, or semiconductor infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in semiconductor manufacturing or technology organizations.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, cleanroom environments, equipment installation, production ramp-up, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience with project planning tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, and governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in Engineering, MBA, or Project Management is preferred.
- PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project/program management certification is an added advantage.
