We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning of a solar power project. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing system efficiency, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Design electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and system architecture for solar power plants.

Perform load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies.

Design and size transformers, inverters, switchgear, cables, and grounding systems.

Ensure compliance with national and international electrical codes (IEC, NEC, CEA, etc.).

Supervise the installation of electrical components such as inverters, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, and protection systems.

Ensure quality control during procurement and installation.

Coordinate with the civil and mechanical teams to ensure smooth execution of electrical works.

Oversee electrical cabling, earthing, and lightning protection system installations.

Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests on electrical equipment.

Troubleshoot and rectify any electrical issues during testing.

Ensure the grid synchronization of the solar power plant.

Ensure adherence to local electrical safety and environmental regulations.

Prepare and maintain all project-related documentation, including test reports, drawings, and as-built reports.

Coordinate with government agencies, DISCOMs, and EPC contractors for approvals.

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Experience in solar power plant design, installation, or commissioning.

Strong knowledge of power system design, protection, and control systems.

Familiarity with solar inverters, switchgear, SCADA, and grid interconnection requirements.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
