The Role
At Pratap Group, we aren’t building standard CRUD apps. We are building the command center for our fleet and energy assets. As a Flutter Developer, you will bridge the gap between high-frequency telemetry data streaming from our backend and the end-user. You will own the mobile experience that allows our stakeholders to monitor, troubleshoot, and control physical infrastructure in real-time.
Core Technical Stack
- Framework: Flutter (Dart)
- Communication: WebSockets, gRPC, and MQTT for real-time telemetry streaming.
- State Management: BLoC or Riverpod (essential for managing complex, asynchronous data streams).
- Data Handling: Efficient JSON serialization/deserialization and local caching (Hive/SQLite) for offline-first capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Real-time Dashboards: Build high-performance, reactive UI components that visualize streaming telemetry (e.g., live vehicle location, power consumption metrics, sensor status).
- Telemetry Integration: Integrate directly with our backend streams to ensure low-latency updates without freezing the UI.
- Offline-First Architecture: Design apps that remain functional in low-connectivity areas (common in field deployments) by implementing robust local caching and sync strategies.
- Performance Optimization: Use Flutter Isolates to move heavy data processing off the main UI thread to maintain a constant 60/120 FPS, even when handling large datasets.
- Collaboration: Work daily with backend engineers (Kafka/ClickHouse specialists) and hardware teams to define API contracts that keep the app lean and fast.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience building apps that consume high-frequency, real-time data streams.
- Deep understanding of BLoC or Riverpod for handling complex state in long-lived sessions.
- Hands-on experience with WebSocket/MQTT implementations in Flutter.
- Ability to implement custom charts, maps, and interactive visualizations.
- Comfortable working in a high-collaboration, office-first environment where quick feedback loops are the norm.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
