Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for Senior Purchase Engineer with preferred background in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical for Procurement SCM Role.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure engineering equipment, machinery, tools, and project materials as per project requirements.
- Conduct technical and commercial evaluation of vendor quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Coordinate import shipments, customs clearance, and logistics with freight forwarders and clearing agents.
- Plan and monitor domestic logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials to customers and project sites.
- Develop new vendors and maintain a competitive vendor database.
- Maintain procurement records and support project execution.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of procurement experience in EPC, Power, Railways, Industrial Projects, or Engineering Companies.
- Experience in procurement of electrical/mechanical equipment, machinery, or industrial tools.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and technical evaluation skills.
- Knowledge of import documentation, international sourcing, and logistics coordination will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
