Purchase Engineer along with Project experience in Electronics: -
As a Purchase Engineer, he will be responsible for overseeing the procurement along with Project process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods, services, and equipment required by the organization. You will collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and vendors to secure the best possible terms and prices for purchases while maintaining high-quality standards.
1. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and product quality.
2. Responsible for leading and coordinating the development of electronic projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet technical specifications, quality standards, and timelines
3. Develop and maintain relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new sources to expand the supplier base.
4. Evaluate purchase requisitions and create purchase orders (PO) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
5. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable agreements for the organization.
6. Monitor and track supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and adherence to contractual obligations.
7. Designing, analyzing, and testing electronic systems, components, and software for various applications.
8. Providing regular project updates, progress reports, and technical documentation to stakeholders
Required Skills
1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience working in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry of Electronics manufacturing with a sound knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical products.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
4.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and resolve procurement-related issues.
5. Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for sourcing, vendor management, and contract management.
6. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and ensure efficient procurement operations.
8. Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and contract management.
9. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electronics, electrical systems, circuit design, and relevant software and tools.
10. Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards and regulation
