Key Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership:
- Lead and manage the Engineering team;
- Define the technology roadmap aligned with business objectives;
- Build engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices;
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the technology department;
- Build a high-performance engineering culture. Software Development: Manage the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
- Plan, prioritize, and execute product development;
- Deliver projects within timelines and quality standards;
- Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions;
- Review architecture, code quality, and system performance. Legacy Application Management:
- Manage and maintain existing Core PHP and CodeIgniter 3 applications;
- Lead feature development, bug fixing, optimization, and application enhancements;
- Ensure production applications remain stable, secure, and highly available;
- Improve performance of legacy applications;
- Plan gradual modernization of legacy systems without affecting business operations. Modern Application Development:
- Lead development of modern web applications using current technologies;
- Build scalable and secure software architecture;
- Develop REST APIs and system integrations;
- Drive automation and adoption of modern development practices;
- Ensure applications are optimized for performance and scalability. Team Management: Lead Frontend, Backend, QA, DevOps, UI/UX, and AI teams;
- Assign work and monitor project progress;
- Conduct code reviews and technical mentoring;
- Hire, train, and develop engineering talent;
- Conduct performance reviews and technical evaluations. Infrastructure & DevOps:
- Oversee deployment processes and release management; Coordinate cloud infrastructure and server management;
- Ensure system backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery;
- Improve CI/CD processes and deployment automation. Product & Business Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Management teams;
- Translate business requirements into technical execution plans;
- Participate in strategic planning and technology decisions;
- Support business growth through technology innovation.
