Summary:
As an SAP Fiori/ Gateway Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You are expected to act as an SME, collaborate across teams, and contribute to key technical decisions while ensuring delivery excellence
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy SAP UI5/Fiori applications (Custom & Fiori Elements)
- Work on SAP Fiori Architecture, including Launchpad, catalogs, groups, and roles
- Develop and consume OData services (V2/V4) using SAP Gateway and RAP
- Build end-to-end applications using RAP (CDS views, behavior definitions, service bindings)
- Implement UI using SAPUI5 controls, MVC architecture, XML views, fragments
- Develop solutions using Fiori Elements and extension frameworks
- Work with SAP Gateway architecture including SEGW, service implementation, and enhancements.
- Integrate front-end apps with backend services (ECC/S4HANA/BTP)
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsive design standards
- Handle UI/UX guidelines based on SAP Fiori design principles
- Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders for requirements gathering
- Troubleshoot issues across UI5, RAP, OData, and backend layers
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FIORI/UI5 developments and Gateway architecture.
- Strong knowledge of OData services (V2/V4), RAP Model (CDS Views, Behavior Definitions, Service Exposure)
- Experience working with ABAP on HANA / CDS annotations.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and security best practices in S/4Hana.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP FIORI/Gateway architecture with custom UI5 app developments.
- Minimum 4–5 years in SAP UI5/Fiori development
- Hands-on experience in at least one S/4HANA implementation project
- 15 years full time education is required.
