Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Anaesthetist to join our hospital and provide safe, high-quality anaesthesia and peri-operative care. The candidate will be responsible for pre-anaesthesia evaluation, administration and monitoring of anaesthesia, post-operative care, and management of anaesthesia-related emergencies. The Anaesthetist will work closely with surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-anaesthesia assessment and evaluate patients for surgical procedures.
- Review medical history, investigations, medications, and anaesthetic risks.
- Develop appropriate anaesthesia plans based on the patient's condition and planned procedure.
- Administer and monitor general, regional, and other appropriate forms of anaesthesia within the scope of practice.
- Continuously monitor vital signs and the patient's physiological status during procedures.
- Manage the airway and respond promptly to intra-operative emergencies.
- Provide appropriate post-anaesthesia monitoring and care.
- Identify and manage anaesthesia-related complications.
- Provide anaesthesia support for elective and emergency surgical procedures.
- Coordinate closely with surgeons and OT staff throughout the peri-operative period.
- Participate in emergency and on-call duties as required.
- Maintain accurate anaesthesia records and clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
- Contribute to effective teamwork and maintain professional communication with patients and colleagues.
Qualification:
- MBBS from a recognized medical college/university.
- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) / respective State Medical Council.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
