Core Responsibilities Patient Preparation: Counsel and prep patients by explaining the TMT procedure, attaching ECG leads, and obtaining informed consent.
Procedure Monitoring: Safely guide patients on the treadmill, record cardiovascular responses, and observe for any signs of distress or abnormal readings.Equipment
Management: Operate, calibrate, and maintain TMT and ECG equipment in coordination with biomedical engineers.Data Documentation: Record exact test data, prepare diagnostic reports, and flag abnormal findings directly to the physician.
Safety & Emergency: Adhere strictly to infection control standards and maintain readiness to respond to cardiac emergencies.
Key Skills Required Strong understanding of ECG interpretation and cardiac monitoring.Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations.Meticulous attention to detail and accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Experience Education: Diploma, Certification, or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Care Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related paramedical field.Experience: Typically ranges from fresh graduates up to 5+ years of experience, depending on the hospital or diagnostic center
